There are dedicated barra comps out there, there are dedicated bluewater comps out there. There aren't many comps other then (fly fishing mob) that have a multi species comp. It makes you learn how to fish for all different species and will find the true all round fisherman as apposed to the better barra fisho's, that already been done in other comps. 3 or 4 barra rounds would be fine but when you can take out the whole comp only catching one species it becomes boring and bordering on unfair to a lot of people. IMHO

Well at least we are not crying about the 10cm landbased rule this week :moon:

and bream :? :? come on the heat acts in different ways this time year
:) :) :) bream :)
having bream in the comp kind like rocking up to winnelli pub on thursday afternoon at 5pm and asking for a sodawater with lime, the NT is fading away

Thought I'd get a bite there :-)

But come on, how many smiles have you seen on kids faces when they get a big bream?.

Doesn't matter where they r fishing.

They pull hard for their size as well!

Guess I'm still just a big kid, bream are fun

Sooties included :D
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

If my young fella asks me if we can go bream fishing I will feel like I have failed as a father :) :)

My young feller doesn't ask, he just goes!

Doesn't matter whether it's spangles in the Gunn lakes, or largemouth, I can't stop him going fishing.

Guess I used to be like that once too

For a comp that is free to go in with good chances of winning good fishing prizes there sure is a fair bit of moaning or suggestion to make so much better. Was it like this last year ?

Always like this, but there is nothing wrong with trying to make improvements for the better of every one.

Well done seano, that's good.

Pity some poor people down south can only catch bream.
I know a few up here that go sooty fishing all the time and would rather catch them than Barra
