Nice work mullet and bellfish.

Mullet that fish would have sonic boomed a popper. She's a beauty.

Bellfish that's a perfect table specimen. What did you get him on?
Its not a crisis unless there is blood around.

So I was out on a Top End river recently, the name of which shall be excluded for legal reasons  , and I landed my first barra for the April comp; a 43cm rat, on a 65mm drop bear squidgy.

Later in the day, I caught a 50cm upgrade on the troll, on a gold deep diver, but forgot to put the paper back in the close up shot. :banghead:

I completed my trifecta with a 51cm upgrade, on a gold and green little lucifer and again forgot the newspaper. :banghead:

Not sure if my upgrades are eligible, but I hope to upgrade to an edible size before the end of the month anyways!

cheers

Hey Fisho's
Headed down to the Vic River last week. Caught 12 Barra all on green hard bodies, biggest two 91 and 87 cms, which were both caught land based as per pictures attached. All the rest were not over 60cms. River was filthy!
River should be good in the next few weeks, not many fish being caught and lots of people heading home early.

Matt

Have some interesting stuff for the comp from the Roper which will keep us in touch with Ponyplay and Cuddles.

Mate with trip camera is in Gladstone and I'm having trouble getting the photos from him. He took 6 gigabits of photos and videos so he can't just e-mail the downloads to me.

He'll just have to post a 8gig flash-drive to me so it may be into early May by the time I get them.

Exciting trip. Boat caught fire at Tuna Ck one night.

Will do a separate report on another thread.
Regards
Ronje
