No, he gets extra points for the moustache - saves on zinc cream!

Anyone else been out fishing the (ahem) Kakadu billabongs?

Nice fish, but what's with the float? Some new fishing technique?
Thank heavens I moved to the Territory, everything I love is here!

99, my guess is that the fish grips are on the float to stop them heading to the bottom by accident

Would be for the lip grips if they are dropped over the side I would say!

After you release a fish you may decide to catch it again......in which case you go back to the billabong and look for the float.......then you throw lures around the float. You can see all my floats along the banks of any harbour creek. Funny to watch the crab farmers try to grab it.....and it zooms away!
Its not a crisis unless there is blood around.
If there is blood around......well its a police matter...

Ha ha Mud!!

Hafta try that :-)
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Homeless fish??? :lolpoint:
" YOUTH is a GIFT "
"AGE is an ART "
"Doesn't mean you get any smarter..just wrinkled and cracked".

"No angler watches nature in a passive way...He enters into its very existence." (John Bailey...Reflections on a Waters Edge)

"Govern a Family as you would catch a small fish....Very Gently." (Chinese Proverb)

"Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish." (Rafael Sabatini...1857-1950)

I pray that one day God sends me a fish so big that, when talking of it...I have no reason to lie.
