FFF Seadogs - Register your boat here
Register your boat for Seadogs 2012 by posting a picture of it here with the FFF sticker visible.
Matt Flynn will administer and judge the winners via the photographs posted on this website, and entrants will be responsible for their own trip planning, safety and insurance cover. By registering, entrants acknowledge they will be responsible for assessing the safety of road and sea conditions on each day, and will ensure they have the correct charts, safety gear, equipment and skills to safely fish their chosen area.
Landbased fishos can register with a FFF sticker on the tackle box, eskie or car

Craig's Fishing Warehouse has run out of stickers, they will have more by next Wednesday
You can order a sticker online here if you wish, free postage, but the sticker probably won't get to you until Wednesday anyway ... http://www.fishfinderbooks.com/index.php/cPath/28

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Re: FFF Seadogs - Register your boat here
Matt, it runs at 30knots, (55kmh) 5400rpm with 3 people and gear, full of fuel, 120litres.
Usually cruise about 25kts at (46.5kmh) at 4500rpm
I have a 4 blade prop though, slightly lower pitch for fishing creeks and runoff around the blue holes etc, much better for backing up, and stops much quicker when it gets put in reverse. Also can keep on the plane easier at lower revs for trolling.
Probly get a bit more speed easily with a 3 blade and bigger pitch.
The old Savage bluefin, 7metre has a 150hp Honda 4stroke, it cruises at 20kts easy at about 4200rpm, cuts through the water nice, had it up to 28kts, but chews the fuel then!!
