FFF Seadogs 2012 Round 8 - Billfish

Post by Matt Flynn »

FFF Seadogs 2012 Round 8 - Billfish kicks off on October 1

For this round the fish must have a tape held against it, tail fork to lower jaw, and photo submitted at full size so I can zoom in on the tape.

It's not going to be easy measuring them. I'll get special measures made next year if there are sufficient entries this year.

Here's how the overall FFF Seadogs comp works ... http://fishingterritory.com/seadogs-201 ... 28102.html

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Day 16 - one billfish could decide the Grand Champion

But the round can still be won by any registered entrant :fishing:

nearly got one :D

had a big black, est 200-250kg eat my mack lure in the prop wash at Sail City on Friday.
Played him for an hour and 15, got him up abaout 15metres from the boat on the surface at one stage, got a few pics and video!!!

But the line parted not long after and he swam off. :fishy:

If only he'd eaten one of the big pushers i had out for him on the bigger rods :|

always the way, dammit.
