Gentlemen, start your engines ... Round 1 kicks off tomorrow.

Put your Round 1 entries on this thread

Put last minute questions about the rules here ... http://fishingterritory.com/seadogs-201 ... 28102.html

Register your boat here ... http://fishingterritory.com/seadogs-201 ... 28103.html

It will be a challenging run-off for Round 1, even if the monsoon restarts in a big way.

:fishing: Have an enjoyable competition, good luck to all :fishing:

Guess I should have registered and bought a paper to prove the date. Got an 81cm on the Daly today. Then hope like hell for everyone else's hooks to fall off

You can register at any time (before entering a fish) but the chance of winning something diminishes the longer you wait

Yeh, I figured forgeting the paper would catch people out. As long as it is an NT News from within the month of the round, just buy one and stash it in the boat. Entrants will need a new NT News for the next round in April, and so on.

70cm barra caught on fly at the McArthur river 2 March 2012.
Sight cast in the snags on an intermediate line using a bastardised "Yellow Thing"

Tagged and released along with 51 others

Day 8 and a 70cm fish leads the Run-off Round.

Competitors should continue to enter their smaller fish, because it will accrue points in the final tally for Grand Champ.

The winner of this round for example, may fail to catch the biggest fish in future rounds, so it is important to enter your fish no matter how big the leading fish is in each round.
