fishing and camping down south

well i went down to renmark for my holidays and i really wonted to catch a cod so on a sunday arvo - got the mid arvo drop the boat in and set up camp - headed out with in half an hour i was on wooooohooo!!! - got it to the boat it was a 70cm murray cod weighing 6.5kgs not a fat cod but a cod nun the less - we kept it to sare out to the family - we went back to camp i went straight to bed due to a miagrain- next moring fished til about lunch time then came back and packede up camp and headed home- i was pumped about getting my first cod on lure i also lost the lure i got the cod on straight after :banghead: :banghead: - we were fishing above lock eight - bl..dy freezing down there good to be back in darwin.

good work there Jordan, there is usually a lot of hours in between cod captures.
Bit of a multi cultural capture, Darwin resident visiting SA, camping in NSW or VIC fishing in NSW waters :rofl:

good work Jordan. I belive cod are one, if not the most satisfying fish to catch due to the effort and patience they require. The photos are form Canberra.
