Are you looking for low a profile baitcaster reel or a round baitcaster reel? What model ABU reel are you using at the moment?

IMO - they feel cr.p.

you would be better off to learn to cast with both hands from all sorts of angles.
will make you a much better fisherman.
you can't always cast your preferred way. (as in mulitiple people in the boat to get in the way etc.)

With round profile baitcasters check that the levelwind is a non-disengaging type, because the levelwind is much closer to the spool on round profile than on low profile reels, and it does affect casting.

The Luna 300's and Calcutta 400's have non-disengaging level winds. The Luna 253(and under) and Calcutta 250(and under) have disengaging levelwinds. The Luna 300L is smaller than the Calcutta 400 and is better suited for casting. Get the Luna 300L. :)
