Zillion for casting, CVZ for trolling.

I sold mine a while ago due to lack of use and now I kick myself. Best reel they ever made.

Same as Daiwa.and the older Alphas

You should be able to track one down Scotty. I hear they are pretty good. Although never used one. I tend to stick with the Daiwa gear for baitcasters and Shimano for all my spin gear.

Looking forward to testing this little beast out soon. Just arrived out of Japan.
daiwa M-ito 103 paired with the new Megabass hyuga 68m. Should be an awesome harbour weapon for light lures.

Thats Different. Consensus seems to be at the Culcutta or a zillion. I already have a 700 calcutta so could have a little calcutta family. Haha

For me the best bang for buck would be the new Curado I's. But my favourite would be the Japanese Conquests.

Are all the conquests magnesium? So not great for salt water use?

Shimano CORE is pretty good also.

I can't go past the Daiwa Alphas for our finesse style fishing.

Zillion HLC or Type R for a larger version.

Shimano CORE is pretty good also.

Go and have a chat to Deepblack as he maintains reels all day long so should be able to give a good insight into what's what.

The Concept A and Concept C are Aluminium framed reels, the Concept E and Concept KP are magnesium.

The original Zillions for me in all their forms, the only one I wasn't all that keen on was the newer Pe special in the 7.9 ratio, found the gear was too high and ran out of guts on the bigger fish, changed the gear out for the type r 7.3 problem solved. Also just got the sv103 and loving it so far, also like the new alphas 105sv.

Hi all
I have and love the "old green curado" but have just brought a Diawa tatula HD and is quick becoming my go to reel.

Also calcutta 300d as a big barra trolling reel and jigging.

My opinion only
