I’ve had several cans of ballistol here for ages but because of advice from others, I used INOX on my gear instead. Bad mistake.

In this day of google searches, do your own research instead of believing everything you hear. Eg, wd40 doesn't contain fish oil, dont spray it on your bait to attract fish etc etc

It reminds me of when I was an apprentice and the old blokes told me to pee on your hands to toughen them up. bastards

For those of you suffering from the shimano sticky knob complaint there are now Shimano Curado/Chronarch E series style knobs available. They don't fit Calcutta B series or the the older Bantam series but they seem to fit most others including 1000 - 3000 spin. This is only a relatively new development for Shimano as previously you had to buy a whole new handle. I also currently have one new FK Stradic series handle knob available due to upgrading my FK to a metal version.
Cheers,
John.
