show us ya Aprion virescens

Post by BarraBeast »

i lwas uck enough to do a spearing trip out wide last year, and lucky enough to find some green jobfish country. i only speared a small 'jobbie' but it was my first landed. as in the past even these curious little critters still out smart me ! (which isnt hard)

anyway, they are simply devine to eat with no additives what so ever. to entice the kids, i through in 2 jars of home brand sweet 'n' sour sauce and they were fighting over it like little seagulls.

Nice. I did a bit of spearing when I lived at Port Macquarie but since moving to Darwin, I have lost my nerve. Plus the wife would poop a brick if I wanted to get back into it up here
