I have been making my own jerky for a little while now, I usually just use cheap steak, the leaner the better. Lately I have been using those real think sizzle steaks and they seem to work well and some of them are already marinated. I get a bit carried away with the seasoning but I love jerky and I love to make it as yum as possible :) I use salt and pepper, piri piri, garlic powder, pepper steak, chives, paprika (hot), smokey barbecue, chilli flakes, corriander and sumac, as well as Eata Bbq sauce and holbrooks. It comes out pretty spicy but Im keen on the hot food. Cheers

Im a cheat. Buy your favourite flavour marinade from Woolies and soak your meat in it overnight. Put in a oven at highest setting for 3 mins then leave out to cool. Bag up in vac seal bags preferably. Keep in the fridge.
Enjoy with Rum!! :eating:
I only work to support my fishing habit
