Sunk faster than any wreck to date, it obviously wasn't a registered hull.
Will post up a video in due course, if anyone has pictures of work in progress over the past few weeks email 'em to [email protected]

Geez Matt the van b dream went down pretty fast and you reckon this went quicker
Nice work boys and girls hope it was a great day
Is there a limit to what can be sunk or are we just on the look out for any " FAJ- fish attracting junk "
Again well done

Yes there's limits and the objects are carefully scrutinised by all the relevent authorities. Its still policy and good practice not to use the sea as a dumping ground (unless your are in the middle of a world war)
Yachts and the like are easy to handle and provide a boost to the existing reefs, accomodating more fishing options for anglers ar little or no cost.
Steel is the material of choice because flora grows rapidily on its surface, followed closely by concrete.
Laters.

thanks Peter, the latest hulls have been handed to fisheries to sort out. we'll have to wait and see how they preform. currently reef creation has been put int he 'too hard basket' because of the f**wit factor one has to endure to achieve these results.
BB over and out.

Re: good grief - another reef!
i admire your enthusiasm thats for sure. yes you can still propose anything good you find. the best process to take is to send a photo and any details(especialy cost) to AFANT, until a proper program/umbrella can be established, where volenteers can channel their energy for these projects.porky17 wrote: Do we still keep our eyes peeled for hulls etc???
also post a photo as 2rods and I love to have a chuckle over other peoples idea's of what a boat should look like.

I saw a heap of trailers parked behind Truck City. Surely they wouldn't miss a couple?
