1 out of 2 government inspections is complete. Banjo attacked the oxy cracks with enough silicon to fill Pamela Andersons boobs a few times over.

this weekend is looking too hard to get organised. will postpone until early december on the right springs and to accomodate the harbour masters schedule.

plus my brother has started playing with the hull so it's bound to be over engineered and probably worth keeping.

 were winning the battle but to win the war we have to adapt and overcome. we may still take those beams depending on how we go with the stabilzers. it may only be a matter of cutting them off as the crane holds it in the air.

Another sterling effort from shane and jordan doevy over the weekend, stage 1 of the stabilizers are in place and I've finished all the cutting. Damn fun that oxy acetylene only way it could be more fun is doing underwater. I think it would have been easier to launch a space shuttle than this lump but we are alost there. Ps banjo your up for more sealing ?

absolutly - fore and aft gussets for the stabilzers and the uprights with 'skids' on em too. we have to do all this around the cradle so the hull will still float off. the project manager :bonk: had no other location for use for the stabilzers.

anyway - from 4pm onwards tomorrow - (thursday) i'll be there and maybe Banjo too.

i also got carried away with the oxy cutting so one of the panels needs a tack or two! :bonk:

we are locked in for the 4th of dec, 0900am to lift and haul down to the beach - weather permitting we can tow by 4pm othewise we have to moor it overnight and tow in the morning. so who's up for another overnight barbie and karioki session? last time 2 rods and jasonmcc had the bbq flamming so high it started to freak out the sailors nearby who were leaving in the morning ambon race.

anyway, those two always require adult supervision which is another story.
