The harbour Master has granted approval for towage/scuttling.!!!
I'll get an update on Shorelands next move asap.
The tides are good next week for morning high, an outgoing tide will help with the commute. Will aim for the weekend of 15/16 Sep.
You'll be landing Jewies from that sucker before you know it!

Well we may as well get the towing stuff organised.
If someone wants to get creative we need a set of Navigational Dayshapes made(1). I used cardboard and ally pole last time.
The pole has to be mounted on the towing vessel with a 360 degree view for all other vessels to see it. (vessel restricted in it's ability to maneuver)
The top shape is round(about the size of extra large family size pizza base, the next next shape down is square(the same size) but mounted sideways to look like a diamond) and the last one is another family size pizza circle. They have to painted black.
(2)need to hire a high speed water pump from Tru-blue with a pick up and firemans hose.
(3) vhf hand held radio's
(4) marker boys(large) x 2
(5) spray paint for last minute slogans
(6)maybe shade for the crew on board while the hull is under tow.
(70 mother in laws
I'll rig the lines for recovering the anchor etc

I have been told by AFANT that the NT fisheries department has requested a quote to sink MV Dodgy and two others.
FFF member Dodgy says we should sink our hull ourselves and get the kudos as Dodgy secured the hull and FFF members cleaned it up.
However if fisheries sink it they will have public liability insurance etc covered.
How do forum members feel about this?

Confused
So do they want a quote from us to sink it? Might be some easy money to be made Other than that, I reckon thee FFF did all the hard work and we should sink it.
Cheers

My thoughts as well. The hard work is done. Only fair we get the satisfaction of putting it down ourselves.2rods wrote:Our hard work ... our hull.... we should sink it IMHO

They want to sink their hulls themselves? Feel free.
This one came about after much inaction on everyone else behalf.
