more pix
The MV Dodgy sunk like a stone - here's some pix - I'll post some video shortly.
Congratulations to BarraBeast, Dodgy, Codfather and all who helped do this great thing - the transportation of the hull from the crane to the sea floor was hitch free with BarraBeast leaving nothing to chance.
A highlight was watching Dodgy and Beast sinking holes in the hull with the sledge hammers - the hull holed quite easily and sank much faster than the Mick Clancy.
I used the video camera for the final sinking, so I have no pix of that. If anyone can email one I would be grateful.
PS. I've got your sledge Harmsey, I might use it to tune my old motorbike

What a morning.
Big thanks to Ray for putting up the Codfather for towing purposes. The big rig did it with ease nearly hitting 20kmh as we went past Larrakeyah.
Goldcan for providing backup and keeping the crew well supplied with cold XXXX Gold after the sinking. Some nice driving skills mate.
Harmsey providing second back up vessel and sledge.
Matt as official camera boat.
Jasonmcc for getting the buoys onto the Rick Mills site and having everything in place when we got out there.
Shorelands for providing expert help in getting the hull down to the water early on a Sat morning.
Mrs Dodgy for dropping me off at 5.30am at Berrimah for the lift.
Tow and sinking went like a dream. Better than expected. Is a great thing when a plan come together well like it did and everything went even better than expected.
One interesting thing was the total lack of spectator rigs....none. Big tides must have scared them away.

How smooth was that scuttling? but I still feel a deep desire to sink more! It's confounds me, the feelings of triumph and a certain sense of loss all the same time. WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS! BRING IT ON, MORE BOATS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN. Some how my destructive needs get met!

Apologies to those whose photos were in the paper today of the MV Dodgy. The paper said the pix were supplied by me which is true but I did not ask for that line to be put there making it look like I took them all.
I did not receive any cash for them.
