Well this is it folks :mrgreen:

Its still a battle for 1st and there could be a 3 way battle for 3rd

7 people are in the running to complete the barra challenge

December is always hard to get time on the water so get out there and get amongst it

I was out early and landed a December fish on the 1st. This one was 66cm caught on a Little Lucy on a lower east arm rock bar

Finaly back on the board,
70 cm caught at Manton off the rocks next to the net.
Landed on fluro green prawn.
went like a rocket,called for a much bigger fish.

Caught a 82cm barra on a barra classic black cherabin casting into snags at Melville Island on Saturday 5th December.

Here it is, my baz to complete the '09 barra chellange 8-) , a 75cm Manton Dam swamp dog caught on 120 shallow classic bling bling under the full moon on the 1st of December. Sorry it took so long to post.

It's been along time between drinks but snagged a 94cm from King Ck Rockbar on a Yozuri Crystall Minnow.

well i have saved my best for last... after a shocking couple of months, the best i could pull for december was this lovely one.. 43cm from west arm on a small reidys shallow diver. caught on the 20th.
any prize for the smallest barra?

well finally completed the barra challenge on the 30th of the month with this 77cm. was looking like i was gonna luck out, not a monster by any means but glad to get it on board none the less.. and in fact that completes 24/24, a barra every month for 2 years. geeze.. might be time to sign a cease fire for awhile. ive started to grow scales under my arms. well done to moonman for taking out the comp. its been a long year with plenty of highs and lows. and a top effort to everyone else that completed the challenge, not an easy feat.

My december barra a 91cm from Manton dam. Didnt make the top 3 but thats 12 from 12. Congrats to everyone and Happy New year.
