I will email my mate Kon again and find out if he has any data of sailfish being caught in nets

Getting some reports on sails again ... this from a guide.

*************

Just returned from Dundee this arvo ...

The sails are still out there, although we did not land any as we were targeting them on fly, we did get the fly down the gob of 2 sails but failed to hook up, a lot harder than feeding a garie down there throat.

We would have seen 13 sails on Thursday and hooked one on a jigged up 7 inch jerk Shad jigging for reefies

Mal and Balls were also out there and they landed one and raised and hooked quite a few others.

My mate also landed one on Monday and raised quite a few others and he also landed one on the Saturday as well as hooking a Black and raising 9 other sails.

PS I read your blog on the netters and their night time netting, both times that I saw them they had there nets out in the morning and the afternoon when we were returning.

***********

So things are looking up again
