G'day all
DGFC will hold its monthly meeting this Tuesday night (7th) at the Ski Club. Tom McCullough & Mat West will be showing juniors about lure choice, styles, lure depths & casting in the pool area, that will occur from about 545pm to about 630pm.
Peter Deinhoff will be then delivering a bait rigging demo & talking about techniques & tactics he uses chasing Billies. Pete's a veteran of the Billfish scene up here & fished quite a few Broome tournaments & an accomplished angler accross the board, if any one is interested feel free to wander down & pick his brain, no cost involved, all welcome, cheers Balls.

G'day all
Thanks to Pete, Bigfoot & their crew for their time & effort on Tuesday night Bill fish & bait rigging demo, good to see someone elses spin on things + the info Pete provided was informative.
They have also adapted & trialing a rigging technique from the US for Garfish, they have just modified local products readily available to suit & do the same job, not sure you may or may not have already checked it out, if you google Bionic Chin Pin, you can view the technique & get the general gist, the Yanks have disigned it for the use of circle hooks in their comps, but it would also work with J hooks & have other applications if you do some more modifications & look outside the square, working on that one, cheers Balls.
