As you may have noticed the NTMAG Feb/Mar/April is out and at newsagents Australia-wide.

I am keen for feedback on the mag as usual.

Future editions will have local boat tests in them - people have been asking for them which has surprised me, I thought there were enough already in other mags.

Got some interesting new columnists in the next mag.

NT Mag

Post by fishfanatic »

Hey Matt,
I am sure I am echoing what most if not all readers are saying, the mag is fantastic and getting better every time. Love the run off & Daly river feature..I feel the same as Tinni, once I start reading I cant put it down.

The crocs cover might sell more down south KK, but the cover was actually in response to three things ...

1. Helen Larson wrote a big article about crocs - nothing to do with croc numbers, but about what an amazing animal they are
2. Slapper sent in that great pic of the swarm of crocs at Shady
3. There had been discussion here about croc numbers, and problem crocs
4. There has been a "croc safari" debate in years past - it seemed obvious to mention it when talking about croc numbers

There also was the attack at Cooktown about the time we were putting the mag together.

For the record, I don't think there are too many crocs, but I am amazed that we don't have incidents at places like Shady Camp or Corroboreee where their numbers are high.

Did anyone else find the croc cover interesting, ho hum, or otherwise?
