Post by natural sparks »

I was fishing with a friend in maybe 1992-3-4 :-(
and we got some little rock crabs to target blue bone in Karratha at a spot everyone went by to get out and slay the big ones
well we cleaned up in an hour or so :fu: and thought what a calm day lets go for a troll :fishing:
Well before you know it we are out the back of the ore carriers thinking this is great :naughty:
Lets fish the bottom :fishing:
2 150lb hand lines :bricks: go over and we got bitten off, we got half fish, we got the biggest Powertail in the history of Powertail (all the while sucking down the new 5.6% hahn ice) :drinking2: :drinking2: :drinking2: so i thought chuck a mulie(or pillie for the no purist) out the back
WELL
I got my mate to bring in both handies at the same time(end of both of em) :banghead:
And i pulled the most un expected fish in wy life
We were in a 3.75m quinnie with a 9.9 evo and about 30nm out to sea
And on our way in at 530pm there was almost a ripple :surf:

sorry no photos yet but when the mother of my son wakes we will find them

Well here they are :o
My mate Andrew and my self both had no skin left after handleing this beast :o
We both nearly ended up in the drink
And it swam off in a good mood, but it did hit us with tail and we nearlly went swimming again
We sat there for another twenty or so minutes, :drinking1: :drinking2: drank the rest of the poison(beer) we had and scooted back in :captain:
our significant others didnt believe us until we got the film produced( back in the day when you used a roll of film or u just wait) :o
there is photos of all the other fish from that day but who cares this was the one
