doorstep delight

Post by meter_seeker »

As its hard for me to get out and nail a goose with no 4B :| , i just sit on the balcony in my rocking chair gun in lap waiting for them to fly in and feed on the fallen mangoes :coffee: :hunting: . Well 2 did fly in this arvo  , knowing i would only get 2 maybe 3 shots depending if they were fatigued out from there flight  . As its on the property gotta think safety first so only using the gamo 177 slug gun 8-) managed to nail 1 bird in the head ofcourse from 40m's on the first shot  . Dropped instantly, amazing how powerful these modern air rifles are  . The second goose didnt even notice his fallen comrad :uhh: , so took another pot shot and missed unfortunetly :-( , still managed to get a feed from my doorstep once again

Well im just a scum sucking decky who puts freight on and off, no control of that sorry max, if you've had trouble with them. Bottom line is they dont really care about the average joe trying to transport his tinnie somewhere. Mines freight is always priority and there's that much coming through it alot gets left behind. I worked this one out with Perkins, most companies have gone bust or struggled with all the adequete gear but no cargo, perkins are opposite not being able to keep up with it. Not enough barges, its hard to find barges in good condition and to expensive to build one from scratch.

I'll have a look tomorrow and see how many numbers we got tim but mangoes are dropping dramatically, plus the rainbow lorikeets are hammering them. PM me if you wanna come out and get a few  .

Green are alright bandit just wrap them up in some newspaper and leave them for a few days. Throw them in the fridge till it colours and softens  . There bl00dy beautiful. Dad hasnt fertillizered them so not as many fruit this year and not much size.
