New guy

Post by Tony »

Hi everyone,
I've been lurking about on the forums before I joined up. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a keen fisherman (but not a good one  ) I have two boys and the oldest one has been bitten by the fishing bug HARD and is driving me crazy! I'm a dog handler in the RAAF and have spent nearly 8 years in the NT, 5 in Tindal and this is my third in Darwin. I'm also into hunting and have an interest in taxidermy (I have a few ducks and geese that I'll be trying my hand at mounting this year) I also want to try molding some fish. I have a 4.15 meter tinny that is getting used alot now and I've been getting a lot of good tips from past posts.
Here are some pics of my boys with their best catches to date.

This is my youngest with a nice queenie taken at the mouth of Bleesers creek-

And this is my oldest boy with a jack trolled up at the Nighcliff rockwall.

Welcome Tony - think you will enjoy the forum - watch it, it is addictive!!

FF - mate thats why they call it fishing and catching -

Once again welcome to the forum mate - you can also order smaller FFF stickers from the merchandise area at the top of the [age. they are a bit smaller than the ones from Got One - maybe better for your car. A matter of preference i guess.

Cheers
Shane

Welcome Tony & kids, keep up the fishing & keep the posts coming.
Just ask any questions you like & someone here will give advice, usually good.
Smile, be happy & go fishing.

Work is getting in the way of my fishing.
My boss says fishing is getting in the way of my work.
I will soon fix both of our problems by quitting.
