Well 2rods you can see me in one of those pilot boats. Thats what i wanna do when i get older. Hopefully not that rough tho. I might get seasick
i have set my goal to drive one of those pilot boats that run out of darwin harbour.I am allready the launch/recoverer of the ss EDGERAPA so i think im on the right track. I can even retrieve it at night.

im aiming to become a pilot, now got enough sea-time to do mate class 4 via the big ship route, and those are the dangers of the job but that's why those guys who are master mariners highest ticketed people in the industry are on massive dollars, even our reef pilots on the east coast earn near 300k or more, i often chat to them about career paths on the way up to TI where they venture with us through the reef, amazingly some of them have trawler backgrounds.
