Vale Smokey Dawson

Smokey Dawson died this morning...............

No more will I see him marching (albeit more slowly and unsteadily every year) smiling and waving larger than life in the Sidd-enny ANZAC day march, wearing his smokey cowboy suit and cowboy hat.

He was part of the entertainment troops in WW2.

What a character with an enduring spirit, who never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Another true blue aussie gone @ 94.
