Hot water up at the Pilbara looks like it has killed fish off Gnoorea ... https://cosmosmagazine.com/nature/marin ... ling-fish/

SST heat anomaly image attached here adapted from BOM website, looks like an even warmer anomaly off Tassie's east coast.

Cyclone Alfred fizzled before hitting Brisbane with maximum wind gust of just over 90kmh at Brisbane Airport (104kmh at Redcliffe just to the north) , average airport max wind peaked at 65kmh. Remains of storm are causing flooding, also lot of erosion on Gold Coast beaches.

Looks like Lismore is going to cop it again. Big accident at Lismore involving two army trucks.

Few images attached from day after cyclone crossed coast. Kedron Brook is a creek that runs through Brisbane's northern suburbs and out to sea at Nudgee.

I’ve been accused of bringing the rain, cyclones and now an earthquake to Townsville since I moved from Darwin.
Haven’t seen it rain like this for so long nor for years. Hopefully Darwin gets it all back next season,
