Nothing to do with fishing, but I thought these images were interesting.
The dark image shows carbon monoxide concentrations over land.
There are much the same distributions for other pollutants such as SO2 and NO2, demonstrating that India and China are both spewing pollution into the Northern Hemisphere.

The other image shows temperature anomalies over the North and South Poles. Clearly there are radical differences in the north compared with the south.
Difference in anomalies between the two poles/hemispheres might just be because the north has a lot more land mass.
But maybe that extra pollution has an effect too.
