North Australian FISH FINDER forums

Government is funding the start of a fisheries compliance unit.

This until will be within the fisheries department. They are advertising the position for Manager of the unit and fisheries compliance officers will be recruited soon.

I assume this is a good thing. Marine police were always thinly stretched across various roles and a lot of coastline.

Haha I'd probably be poaching people's marks if that was my job!
