FFF Seadogs 2023 - Round 3 ... Day 12

Had my nephew up this last week, took him on an overnighter out to Shady, was tough due to the water temp down to 26.9 degC, but stuck it out and he managed a 95cm on the troll,

Slow fishing at Shady for us last week. Best fish a 72cm on the troll on a Jackson lure to my mate.

I was hoping to get out again in May, but it's looking unlikely, so I'll post this to get something up.

My decky left the newspaper in the car, so I've had him position his phone in the shot to record the date/time - no reception on the river so i couldn't even get the NT News website up - I'm sure the info is in the image metadata too - I'm hoping this will suffice - it's just a 55cm so it's not going to make or break the comp.... but I'll accept it if this won't do, coz I understand i should have had the newspaper with me....

Snagged this 55cm on a hard body casting at snags in the fresh Finniss at the beginning of the month. The run off was almost over already by then, with water level at the dip at about 100mm. Such a lovely river though, so always worth a look.
