Re: Loading NT GPS Card data onto Lowrance units
Just spoke to Michael - he suggests copying the data onto a bigger, blank micro or SD card because the Elite units may not like the small size (128meg) of the original card.

Re: Loading NT GPS Card data onto Lowrance units
Unsure what I have done. My maps on the elite 7 comes up,but when I zoom in the screen is brown and show no coast or water way. All waypoints ans trail are still there. Do I need a new card or is it something simple.
Regards

Went down to the Vic river last week and why have my waypoints moved 50m either side of my marks?

Re: Loading NT GPS Card data onto Lowrance units
Righto, I've got the card and now my units, Lowrance Hook reveal 9 & HDS live 12. I opened the card in the Hook unit & found many folders, none Lowrance specific.
I've read the posts I could find on here, they appear the be fairly outdated at present.
How do I find the files to transfer the marks in the Lowrance Hook reveal? What are the specific files called?
Any help appreciated.

Re: Loading NT GPS Card data onto Lowrance units
Hi Matt just moved up bought the card & loaded the marks onto my Lowrance elite 9TI removed the card & put the navionics card back in problem now is ALL the marks are on the chart & listing in waypoints but im not getting the contour depth readings & depth defining colours that i had previously.
I did choose the navionics on the menu in the chart page but still nothing the chart page is just all blue in colour?
cheers chopper

Never heard of this problem before, the marks should display over the chart as normal. I'd suggest dropping in to In and Outboard Marine and seeing Michael Ede as he is the guru on such matters. I'll pass Michael the link to this thread meanwhile, he might have an answer straight up. Tomorrow is ANZAC Day so might take a day or two to find out more.

Re: Loading NT GPS Card data onto Lowrance units
A reply from Michael: "It sounds like either the wrong card has accidentally been put back into the unit or it just isn’t reading the card.
If he goes into files like when he loaded the FISH FINDER card he needs to make sure the unit is still seeing the Navionics card."
