September is Round 7, with only barramundi eligible, but no dam-caught fish ... post your September entries on this thread.

Good luck all :fishing: :fishing: :fishing:

Had a good day on the harbour yesterday. Couple of 70cm fish turned up eventually. My deckie (he's shy sorry about the pic) managed the best one going 77cm, a nice fish close to home. Just filleting them this morning and added the NT news into the pic as it was forgotten yesterday in all the high fiving (judges decision on eligibility is understood either way).

If your deckie isn't in Bali he is out slaying the bazzas in the harbour.

58cm from Shoal Bay this morning, best of 5 on a white suspending minnow. It was dead calm for a while but blew up to the typical shoal bay bay washing machine at lunch!

The big girls are coming out to play with this warmer weather and water temp now at 27.5 deg. I managed 3 in the 90's with the biggest going 98cm. They were very aggressive and did a bit of lure damage so I was very lucky to land all 3 of them.

Like Swoffa, I hope for an upgrade in the next week or 2.

FYI Hardies is very shallow, the formed ramp is 100% out of the water. I just got through the shallow sections.

83cm biggest of 3 from Shoal Bay on a tiny unweighted imitation prawn. I've been playing with Active Target. It really helps with those shut down fish. Every cast counts once you find them and you can keep chainging lures until they want to bite

A mate thought he was working his plastics slow , now with the Active Target its like bait fishing leaving the plastics sitting with the slightest twitches.

PS nice fish Theo

Picked up a few out in Finke bay creeks with the best going 98. The fish seem to fighting harder and really tested out hooks, split rings and knots.

Great info, screenshot is interesting, adds a new dimension of fun, better than TV.
