Japan announces that they will no longer consume whale meat as whales
are now extinct and the scientific research fleet are unemployed.
In an effort to increase trade, Australian Government have advised the Japanese that there is scientific evidence that cane toad flesh tastes very similar to whale meat.

I heard that Japan has doubled their annual refugee intake to 70 or so refugees.
