April Report

Post by Richieboy »

April was a bit slower than the March month for myself.

Work commitments and the dreaded Rona minimised my time on the water targeting the tides. Managed a few trips with good mate Trent tho which yielded some results.

The big rivers and coastal produced a few fish early in the month, biggest going 103 with a few others lost. Shady itself has changed a fair bit from MARCH. Less fresh and becoming tidal not only means the fish have changed habits, but also what they’re feeding on. Time to change up the approach.

Nevertheless, find the fish, cast to the fish is my motto and there’s plenty of fish in those two systems still.

The May month is typically a great time for me targeting the local Jewies, but with the big boat up here now I’m really looking forward to pushing wider and trying to find some new ground and target other species.

Attached are a few pics of fish landed this month. Cheers.

Richie

well done, we caught a few in tommycut in March
Insanity is a good place to hide from reality!

It is not how long the fish is but how long you have fished & how long you've wished.......
