4 nights in Bynoe

Post by hobbsy »

well we launched from the Dundee rd boat ramp in 6pack creek, thanks to those that provided info on the area.
We camped on the boat frm Thursday night to Sunday night & left Monday.

We fished some marks around Simms reef, Miora reef & the top east side of Indian for just a couple of trevelly.
We camped in creeks over night and set crab pots.

well not a single crab to be seen, best fish was a 42cm Jack and a few rock cod.

Pretty dissapointed But as usual , had fun. It was big tides so Im not sure if that was the reason.

It is not how long the fish is but how long you have fished & how long you've wished.......

Great report even if you didn't score.

Not a single crab seems odd, and just trevs on those reefs???

Some trips are like that I guess.

Good thing cod are tasty :D :D :D

Beautiful area. I prefer the top half of Bynoe for barra, never really tried the reefs
I'll see you out there this dry season!

We fished hard in the creek up near Turtle island (Lee creek) for 1x jack. Looks a great area, they were just off the bite.

first time up there so lots to learn
