FFF Seadogs 2022 - Round 2

Post by Matt Flynn »

Image

April is Round 2, with barramundi and threadfin eligible ... post your April entries on this thread.

Still plenty of time to enter, just register your boat on this thread as per instructions (it's free) ... fff-seadogs-2019-barramundi-brag-mat-co ... 43190.html

Mackerel, jewfish and threadfin are eligible in some later monthly rounds and have a -20cm handicap throughout the comp.

Good luck all :fishing: :fishing: :fishing:

Here’s my entry for the month, a hard earned 98cm from Sampan. Cracked rod tip guide, lost an anchor and got left high & dry, but had a great time. Thank god for the crabbers who pulled me out of the mud at Tommycut, but not before a flotilla of boats came out of nowhere and took plenty of photos. I could hear the raucous laughter of the guides over their 200 hp yammies and got plenty of helpful advice like “shouldn’t drink rum on the boat” and “it works better in the water” and “what till the tinny boys hear this”, thankfully the crabbers pulled us out before breakfast and we were back out amongst it. We got 4 up to 98, my deckie’s PB.

Nice fish and good on the crabbers for helping you out. I've always found them friendly
