Looking for some fishing mates

Post by Shandawgg »

Gday guys
I’m relatively new to Darwin but have been in the territory for a year now. I live out humpty doo way. I’m looking to meet like minded fellas to catch up and go fishing with
I’m 25 years old and don’t mind a beer at all haha 🍻

Best way might be to join one of the clubs, they are very active.

In my experience the best deckies are people who
Are ready before the agreed time
Pay for fuel (boat and tow vehicle) it costs thousands every year just to keep a boat operating
Bring copious amounts of 5 star quality food and snacks for everyone
Ensure that you know the brand of beer that the skipper drinks and ensure that he always has adequate beers presented to him/her in a stubbie holder (but not too many)
Assist in launching and retrieving the boat
Pack up the boat at the skippers place and clean it

Yep
I never have to wait on a deckie, or listen to their whinging and I can go when I like and return when I like etc
Unfortunately I have to pay for all fuel, food and have to do all of the cleaning etc

I hate people  :bonk:
