Mandorah jetty final plan released

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

The concept looks pretty good. Will still need dredging as sand still moves out of the harbour. The new rock wall looks good for spinning for macks. Lets hope the rocks dont get too slippery for gaffing fish at low tide
how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.

A place for everyone. At least the boaties will be able to fish/troll the rock walls without getting abused about the 50m rule as you go past the jetty.

Someone’s making big dollars out of all the rock going into the harbour at the moment and the good thing its all local.

Would that be the same 'someone' that made a squillion on the Mt Bundy rocks for East Arm??

I reckon so.

I’m not certain but.. the amount of rock that went into East Arm might have been supplied by the 3 main ones out at Mt Bundy. I remember the 24/7 carting down Berrimah Rd at the time and all and sundry wrecking good tippers with the big goondies being dropped in em. Don’t mention the dropped tippers as they were tipping off :D ... A good dollar made by everyone with a triple tipper set up at the time.

Not just the sale of rock for this project but as with Larrakeyah, a lot will be barged across by other local enterprise.

Come to think of it, there have been single tippers with big rock going into the Casino carpark the last few days too..

Don’t mention the mate of of a mate though as apparently wining and dining a politician is still fashionable up here.

Whoops
