Darwin Flyrodders Saltwater Challenge

There were 11 teams of two fly fishers for a total of 22 competitors for 2½ days.

Fish caught ...

Barramundi 7 Biggest 73cm
Salmon 105 Biggest 47cm
Snapper 276 Biggest 48cm
Trev 549 Biggest 59cm
Queenfish 266 Biggest 64cm
Tarpon 13 Biggest 57cm
Mackerel 23 Biggest 68cm
Others 120

Total fish 1359

Champion Angler Tim Harding

Champion Team ZedeX - Warren and Jarryd Jeffery
R/Up Territory Towelups - Glenn Hubble Quinten Pope

Reports suggest it was tough going with the wind howling down Bynoe Harbour from midday onwards.

Fixed - perfectly understandable mistake, you fellas fly fishing in saltwater, it's not natural :D :D :D
