Hi All,
Planning a trip out to West Alligator head Pococks beach when it opens. Does anyone know how much water you need to launch? from memory the flat extends 1.5 kms out from the beach?

Any info is appreciated.

Why not go from Stuarts Tree fishing camp. So much easier and you don't have to wait another couple of months for the roads to open.
What angler can cross over a bridge without peering over its side

Swoffa is onto it. Some felllas go from sth alligator too.

The road in there destroys trailers and cracks hulls regularly. Even on opening day it'll be corrigated beyond a joke, the "ramp" isn't the best either. To retrieve, the top of the tide, 2 vehicles and twin snatch straps aswell as plenty of maxx tracks is highly recommended. But 4.5m might get you out in an emergency nooblet
