First trip in quite a while. Thought that I had better get out before it is totally closed off :(

119cm Jewie from out the front of Dundee this afternoon caught by my son Jarryd.

I did a quick trip to SWA today with the young bloke so he could have a break from home schooling. I got this 113cm Jewie on a bit of old fillet I found at the bottom of the freeze. I think it might have been some old Spanish mackerel that had been there since Mackie round last year. A few pan size goldies around as well.

Did a solo run down to Shady yesterday. Fishing was a bit slow for me so didn’t hang around for the second tide change. Only landed one fish for the morning, a 76, but lost two others one of which was a cracker. The most annoying thing about losing this fish was it was entirely my fault. I guess that’s what happens when you sit there chugging away for hours staring at everyone else chugging away.....makes your brain operate at 10%.

Quick belt around Lee point with Mr Tangels in the Punt.
Few small macks getting around, and Tangels, being the epic Deckie he was today, got onto this Trev. We lost another one as well, great fun tho! This one went 70cm to the fork. Always big fish in the small boat!;)

IDK guys, but last time i checked, a 3.9m vessel, would put approximately more than 1.5m between people, if there were 2 aboard it. ;)
