CQ Fishing

Post by ronje » Mon Jan 13, 2020 10:09 am

Going through a real dry period here over the last 18 months.

"Drought on land" is now starting to turn into "drought at sea".

Last 8 months of 2019 produced 107mm.

Luckily we got a massive downpour of 26mm on 6th July and another significant downpour of 37mm on 10 October or we'd be in trouble.

Very little barramundi recruitment in 4 of the last 5 years due to failed wets here.

Numbers of big barra around but in-between sizes getting a bit thinner on the ground now.

Heaps and heaps of these fellas though up to about 1.5m.

Humminbird Helix Mega

How did you pick it as a H'bird, C'ptn? Not a lot of info on the screen.
