Yak attack

Post by Eman »

So Aaron Geier a mate of mine from church has moved back from Katherine, sends me a message I’ve bought a new yak do you want to come for an early morning fish? When comes to fishing off a yak Aaron is the man, spent many a time looking at pics of him with maks, queenies and GT’s caught during his yak adventures. So with reluctance I said yeah let’s ago ( I’ve teased him a bunch about being croc bait in his yak). Well we hit the water this morning and for the first forty minutes, nothing now I am mostly a bait fisherman I don’t have the patience to tow a wooden stick around with hooks around for hours. With finally seeing some bait break the surface we peddled faster with resulting hook up of our first fish of the day, A nice golden trevally an hour later on our last lap one more. So for a couple hours of being croc bait we caught two good fish, thanks Aaron.
