Holy hell. No good at all. Didn’t know the fella, but seems way too young to go. Followed his lure creations every time he post one up. Quite a craftsman.

If you go through the posts you'll find pictures of some of the best handcrafted lures made anywhere. He was possibly the first serious NT lure maker too.
Terrible loss for his family at only 60 years of age, and a huge loss for the NT fishing community.
By all accounts a good bloke. He was a keen competitor at the Daly, with his own team. Also a longtime NT resident, formerly lived in Katherine/Tindal before Darwin.

RIP Blinky,top bloke who always had advice for me whenever I caught up with him to buy his custom lures.I will be trolling one up the prossy River in a few weeks time in his honour.

He will be missed by the whole NT Fishing community. He fished something like 21 Classics.
His kids made a great video of his lure making, they played it at his funeral, and its up on his faceache page for anyone who is linked.
