Sea jay velocity any good ?

Post by fff1964 »

Hi All
Mate of mine is looking at a 550 Sea Jay velocity.
Just asking if any one has one been in one or knows anything good bad or ugly about them ?

He is going to go for a test ride but pending on day weather and location the conditions will vary.

So if anyone can give their opinions facts preferably i will pass it on to him.

Thanks in advance :D

Back in the day when I paid more attention SeaJays were quite a tough hull. Can't offer thoughts on that model, hopefully someone else can.

Yeah Matt they look solid and beamy.
I don't know much about them.
He likes the idea of the high free board as he wants to take his grand kids out.

no stress he going to go for a test run anyway , just thought i would ask.

Cheers
