No more oily two-strokes

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

No more oily two-strokes

Post by Matt Flynn »

On July 1 this year, sales of carburettor-based two-stroke outboards ceased.
Imports stopped July 1 last year.
Engines in operation privately are still OK to use.
Injected engines are still a goer.
Soon the sweet smell of an old, oily two-stroke, a la The Castle, will be just a memory.
The end of an era.
