Hi, will be coming to Darwin again in August. Will be fishing Dundee beach, I’m wanting to know what tides are best to fish? Will be fishing both river and offshore. I have fished the harbour before with success on big tides, lows of .08m up to 7.1m tides. Would big tides still work well around Dundee beach or slightly smaller tides?
Any info would be good as I’m travelling from Queensland, long way to go to fish the wrong tides
Cheers Will.

I’m pretty hopeless on the Barra, especially the Finniss river. Can’t go too wrong on the blue. I like the first 3 days of a building tide. Bit of run seems to keep the tuna etc balled up tighter. Still clean water.
I reckon you get better bites of the bigger tides, but smaller window of fishing.
