Punt of a Saturday!

Post by Captain6979 » Wed May 08, 2019 11:19 am

Skipped out on the water with Mr Tangels and came upon some nice schools of Tuna and Mackies, and a small BlueBone which we returned to the sea. Great fun, bewty morning! Tuna went about 7kgs maybe. Goal is to catch one as wide as the Punt..;)

ps... i also discovered that flat-bottomed punts suction to the sand quite well, when placed on outgoing tide... heh heh... phew. Would have been a loooong wait by myself for tide.... ha ha!

That Tuna was for you Tristan. ;) Plenty more to come! I think I will be trying to look for a short-leg 10hp or so tho, in order for greater Pelagic-pursuit! ;)
