Still one section over red car ck culverts single lane dirt with traffic lights but otherwise she's sweet as. 8) No lines marked yet in the first bit and lots of loose stones to chip windscreens on. Aswell as a fair few young crew 4WDers tearing up the puddles in the gutters over the christmas periods storms whilst also getting bogged already. :D

Unfortunately it is going to wreck the serenity out there a bit though... our best beach spots out that way are lock in on high tides at the end of some pretty rough tracks. We generally dont see too many others out there most trips we've done over the years .....well those that make it anyway.

It's going to be game changer to be able to use it to take a quick lap out to fish the upper limits of the area, pt stephens, cape hotham, howard knoll, narrows and wiltshires for the day too... BUT........ It's going to be interesting to see how SWA road holds up to the major increase in traffic and heaps more big boats though.???
I do recall an epic saga about SWA CLOSED as a thread on here earlier on this year with it opening pretty late.

New road is absolutely fantastic, cut down travel time by half was out there on Wed.
We did discuss that SWA will prob get flogged now and for sure the car break in rate will skyrocket.
Fish stories told here....some true !!!

When in doubt...exaggerate !!
