What are your fav lures for trolling river mouths in the runoff for big Barra?

Mine are:

2- B52 kuss
3- B52 Olive
4- Classic guns n roses
5- Big bomber chartreuse

If I had to save my life by catching a big Barra during the runoff it would be a Reidys Big B52 Kryptonite. There are many Reidys lures I love though.

Deep snags ... poltergeist in green... but maybe orange will be better?

Medium snags ... f18 manta ray 5m or custom silenced classics in 15 and 10 plus

Shallows or flats like at shady mouth ...Stradas, Bombers and Reidys B52 of whatever size the nearby bait is ...gold with orange belly ,tigerlily ,kryptonite and black widow were doing the damage once again this year and work well in the buildup months too.

Freshwater.... Yozuri 3D crystal minnow 110mm 120 and 180

Just watch out with where you put them. The owners I run these days are pretty sharp and way more fun when they're in meterys instead :D

Just for s...ts and giggles.....

This one never fails (for me) and its probably one for other conversations posted here.

Easy casting, reacts to how I'm thinking and more than capable on the troll when all else fails. It's my go to when nothing else works and as long as I upgrade the trebles every time, happy days :D

It is a Rapala and the only Rapala I use but not sure what number it is. It looks nothing like this in the box so I took a pic in the sunlight.

The lure Ninjafish has looks to be an original saltwater x -rap in Ayu colour which is only made in the 10 and 12 cm models (not the Australian series which are stronger having heavier internal wire but swim different cos they changed the bib a bit too) they're great lures and I have caught heaps of barra casting harbour arms or feeder creeks with them the SXR 15 is also good for trolling up big girs at Shady. 10cm models factory hooks suck and will still go ok with 4X VMCs but it affects the way they suspend. Once rigged up with owners it kills the action. But on the SXR12s I still am running factory hooks on most of mine and most of the time they're fine. But they can carry owners and still swim for bigger baz .... tail fracture is common on upgraded ones though. :banghead:

Hope this info helps out.

Product Numbers would be :

SXR10 or SXR12 depending on size followed by the colour code.

Found a shop in Dubai that was selling Rapala lures for $6 many years ago.

I bought 88 lures that day 8)

The look on the guys face as I wiped him out of all Rapalas in XR-12s and XR-14s
