This one's for you flicken, as my missus wasnt keen to let me do any overnighters, didn't do anything to exciting went out on Friday around during Charles point. Weather was good for the day. Headed out from dinah at around 5:30am. Managed to find a heap of Goldie. To be honest was hard escaping them. Original plan was to chase Jewies in shallow. My mate managed his first jewie being just a schoolie. And spent day catching and releasing heap of goldies after getting our bag limit in less than 10meters of water. Picked up a few blue salmon. And was pleasantly suprised to see the water police out checking catches and safety gear.
On Sunday took my mate and stepdaughter for a quick run to middle arm to round up some muddies. Crabbing was slow going in a new creek we hadn't tried before. But managed 3 nice bucks and got my first threadfin salmon on a zman.

Oh and a pick of some garlic butter salmon I cooked up haha.

Good feed mate.

Cheers guys. Found high numbers of the snapper in shallows. Went the snapper weren't on the salmon were about.

Usually do alright on big jewies around there in the shallows at this there one of year too but the bigger ones were playing hard to get. Love watching people catch their first big jewie the look on their face is priceless. Hopefully next trip
